Do Psychics Know Everything?

Do Psychics Know Everything?

If there is a baby born every minute, how often is a skeptic born? Many people are skeptical about psychics and rightly so, because there are many fakes. On the other hand, there are some who are genuine, but skeptics still abound because of misunderstandings of what psychics are about. In this article, I hope to address some of these misunderstandings. One that I seem to hear often is, "How come we don't hear of psychics hitting the jackpot?" Response: Just because you don't hear of it happening, it does not mean it does not happen or that it cannot happen. Also, while not many psychics hit the powerball jackpot, they do win smaller prizes now and then. We don't know how often psychics win at lotto, but do you think any psychic would tell you that they won because they were psychic? That would put undue pressure upon all psychics because people would think that they could now get their winning numbers from psychics. With the increase in the number of wins, how long would the lottery industry last and how big would the payouts be? That brings us to the next point.
The universe has built-in checks and balances. It knows that if and when thousands of people win at lotto, it's a situation that can't last forever. Have you seen the movie in which Jim Carrey was given the powers of God? He became so overwhelmed with prayer requests that he answered "yes" to all of them. One of the many requests that he said yes to was to win the lottery. So tons of people won, but the amount was miniscule. Pretty soon chaos reigned. And because such checks and balances exist, psychics cannot reveal everything. What most people don't realize is that psychics know only what is revealed to them. People seem to think that psychics know all. Sorry to say this, but psychics are not God. They do not know everything. In the first season of "Lost", Claire went to see a psychic although she was skeptical, but she went on the insistence of a friend.
Anyway, at one point, she paid the psychic for his services and he started to count the money. And Claire asked him why he needed to count if he was psychic. His answer was, "It does not work that way". Indeed, it does not work that way. A psychic does not know everything. Perhaps an illustration will help. Let me ask you, Can you see? You do have eyes to see, don't you? Otherwise you would not be reading this article. So, you do have eyes and you can see, can't you? Then tell me, can you see what I'm doing right now? Can you see what I am wearing, what I look like? What? You can't? Why not? Don't you have eyes? Are they not functioning? Am I invisible? No, I can assure you that I am not invisible. I can see myself and I'm sure others nearby can see me too. So why can't you see me? In the same way, psychics cannot see everything. First, they have to look in the right direction. Second, their view must not be obstructed. And there may be a third reason. Let's suppose I am out shopping with my girlfriend. She sees a dress she likes and wants to try it. We go to the fitting rooms and guess what? There's only one available but the door (or curtain) is missing. We decide that I should stand guard at where the door is supposed to be, with my back to her, while she tries on the dress. And she tells me, "No peeping!" Let me ask you, Do I have eyes to see (or peep)? Yes I do. Is anything obstructing my view? No, the only thing between she and me is air. Am I looking in the right direction? No, but that can easily be fixed; all I need to do is turn around. So what's stopping me from taking a look to see what I've already seen? Well, she's still shy and she has not allowed me to take a peek!
Likewise, it's possible that psychics don't see or know everything because there are some things that they are not allowed to see or to know. So, the next time you are wondering whether a psychic can tell you everything you want to know, just remember that psychics are only people with special gifts. They are not God and therefore they do not know everything. They can only see or know what is revealed to them. Your concern should be whether or not they are accurate.
