A Brief Introduction of True Dao-the Ultimate Truth Research Classes
The First Term of True Dao-the Ultimate Truth Research Class (also known as the Buddha-disciple Class) was only a 3 -month course. Many Buddha-disciples felt that 3 months were not enough and wished to extend the class to 6 months, while others even suggested it would be great to extend to one year. Since requested by all Buddha-disciples, it could be observed how precious the class was! Starting from the Second Term on, the Buddha-disciple Class was eventually extended to four months.

Unlike any other institution, the objective of the class is to awaken the conscience of the Buddha-disciples. The first step is to join this Basic Level of the class! It enables the Buddha-disciples to realize their own necessity of continual cultivation and consecration after graduation. On the Holy Mission of the Universal Salvation, they can endure any hardship or assume any suffering! No matter how difficult the current conditions are, they will still keep on their mission even sacrifice their lives.

Through this kind of consecutive severe practice for 3 or 4 years, each one of the Buddha-disciples supposedly accumulates their own experiences and abilities. The next step, come back to attend the Advanced Level for the next 4 months! After graduation, all Buddha-disciples are able to observe much deeper in:

--The significance of the True Transmission.
--The true meanings beyond words, languages, or religions.
--The exhortation of True Dao-the Ultimate Truth.
--The application of the heart dharmas.
--The importance of the ascetic practice.

From then on, the Buddha-disciples are much more capable to suit the action to the truth, the truth is never true unless its application in our daily life comes true.

As the austere life of cultivation and consecration passes by the next three or four years lately, the third step is expecting to join the Superior Level for another four months! This final stage enables the Buddha-disciples to attain the heart impress, or conscience enlightenment; and the eternal life of the Universal Salvation is actually beginning.

After the First Term of the Buddha-disciple Class in Spring 1988, the Autumn term was canceled for better planning, improvement, and decision. Until the next Spring, the Second Term was resumed again. Hence two terms, Spring and Autumn were scheduled annually.

Meanwhile the number of enrolled Buddha-disciples from the First Term on, respectively were 64, 80, 120, 180 and gradually increased, sometimes even more than 200. Until March 24,1996, fifteen terms in Taiwan and four terms in foreign countries were completed.

As records shown, the Buddha-disciples came from many countries. Besides homeland, the largest number was over five hundred from Indonesia; then followed by the other countries of Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Australia, Europe, and the American Continent.

The Preciousness of True Dao-the Ultimate Truth Research Class
Wherever the Buddha-disciple Class was held inland or overseas, especially in Indonesia, lots of Miraculous Manifestations have happened. The reason for the occurrences is mainly due to the significance of the class! Once enrolled in the Buddha-disciple Class, this person is ready to take an examination for Heavenly Valedictorian, it is more precious than the ancient Valedictorian!
In ancient China, the government selected talents through the Imperial Examination once every three years. The one at top scores was entitled as Valedictorian. As the time was ready to start, the Examination Hall was closed, and the Examiner announced: ''In case any grievance of forty years ago unjustified against you, now it is the time to ask your debtors for fair return of gratitude, resent, or enmity ''

Whatever the Examination was taken, it would not totally depend on an individual capability. Do you believe that? Supposedly your intelligence enabled you in a good presentation of thesis. However it might be carelessly dropped off an important word, or missed a stroke for different meaning, or messed up your paper and so forth. Eventually you just ended up with a failure!
In reality this is the fact! Besides your capability, the main factor is based on the virtue. That means: you had dedicated a great deal of benefits to some people in your previous life; then in this life they would come in different form to give you a great help! There are many stories and documents about this kind of events.

It is always the cause and effect, our Buddha-disciples are much more precious than the ancient Valedictorian. They are: Heavenly Valedictorian, selected for Buddhas and Saints! Therefore when Buddha-disciples come to the class, all their creditors of 60,000 years will surely come to ask for debts!

During the class, one of the Buddha-disciples suddenly fell down on the floor, lost consciousness, and was immediately sent to hospital. Prior to the prescriptions, this Buddha-disciple has recovered and walked back to the Missionary Institute! Is that surprising? It was not the physical sickness but the previous creditors came to ask for debts! Similar cases were frequently occurred in every term. Now you know how precious the class is. All classes are administered by LAO MU and all Buddhas.
