What is Meridian?

Our bodies, much like gardens, need love, nourishment, tending, and rest, to flourish. We flow through the seasons year after year, rarely giving thought to the natural course of things. The balance of the heavens, clouds, mountains, rains, and rivers are all part of nature's giving and taking, coming and going; much like the flow of blood, energy, and cell regeneration in our bodies.

Our physical bodies cycle through their own seasons. And with each new season comes a little dying, resting, rebirth, and growth. As a child, did you ever skin your knee and watch in wonder as the wound magically went through its healing cycle? Even more amazing was the seed that pushed its way through the moistened earth and turned into a tomato. It's all part of living, growing, and tending in nature's time and cycles.

In the natural world, disasters throw things out of balance, just like fever, pneumonia or cancer can wreak havoc on our bodies. Did you ever notice how nature begins healing? It's much like when as children we watched in amazement as our skinned knee repaired itself. Healing is part of nature's design, and although outside help sometimes moves the healing along, nature finds a way of regenerating life. Our bodies are much like this. It is our own inner ability to heal that does all the work.

Like rivers flowing through the landscape, MERIDIANS are channels for blood and chi that flow over the surface of our body. They form a network that connects all our organs and tissues. Like a river that transports nutrients and food to sustain life in the environment through which it flows, the meridians carry supply of vital energy to ensure the good health of our organs throughout our body.

When a blockage occurs in any of our meridians, there will be a disruption to the flow and balance within our body system and thus we become ill. Therefore, it's wise to practise preventive healthcare by taking care of our meridians to prevent any traffic jam along them.

Thanks to over 2500 years of methodical observation and empirical experience by the Chinese, and today's modern life science, we now know exactly how to care for our meridians and therefore our health. Meridian is an easy-to-learn method to do just that.

I will teach you how to stimulate selected acupressure points along major meridians to achieve tiptop balance, alleviate a wide range of everyday aches and pains, allergies, poor circulation, sleeplessness, and other chronic complaints. You can apply to the Meridian for the rest of your life.

Since 2004, we have been sharing passionately our method with over a thousand people in Singapore. We are happy to have contributed not only to the health and fitness of these participants, but also through them to touch the lives of their families members and friends. Many have enhanced their well-being and cultivated simple but highly effective preventive healthcare routines using Meridian.
